Trafileria Scerelli Srl was founded in Annone di Brianza in 1970 as a producer of low and medium carbon drawn steels. Initially established in an artisan workshop, it has now become a large factory with two production sites, handling over 50,000 tons per year.

WE STARTED AS WIRE WORKERS, WE EVOLVED INTO HEAT TREATMENT SUPPLIERS
The experience and expertise of our technical, commercial and operational staff offer significant added value for the quality of the goods produced. Starting in the nineties, the new “heat treatment” department was created, satisfying the growing demand for treatments on special steels, which are required to offer mechanical features that guarantee ever greater machinability, for the automotive market and for screws and bolts.
WE PRODUCE HEAT TREATED DRAWN WIRE
Heat treatments can be used to modify the structural and resistance features of metals and metal alloys, to make them more suitable for intermediate or final use. The definition of “heat treatment” refers to the set of heating operations, at a temperature always lower than the melting point or range, followed by controlled cooling tending to produce a structural modification.
